Campground Policies

    Rainbow Trout Ranch and Campground reserves the right to discharge any person(s) for failure to abide by these rules. We do not issue refunds for any reason.

      • ATVs: No ATVs or unlicensed motorized vehicles are allowed to operate within the park.
      • Alcohol and Marijuana: Colorado drinking age applies. The possession and use of marijuana on this private property is prohibited.
      • Check-in Time: 1:00 p.m. Early check-ins are based on availability.
      • Check-out Time: 11:00 a.m. Late check-outs are based on availability. There are no refunds or credits for early departures.
      • Children: Parents or guardians are fully liable and responsible for the acts, conduct and safety of their children at all times. All unsupervised children under the age of 18 must be on their site by dark.
      • Fires: NO OPEN FIRES BY THE R.V. OR TENT SITES ARE ALLOWED; only propane fire grills. Use of fires and grills is strictly governed by county, state and park management restrictions and bans.
      • Firearms/Fireworks: For the safety of all guests, use of firearms and fireworks is prohibited.
      • Liability: All facilities are used at your own risk. Our equipment, apparatus and facilities are furnished solely for the convenience of our registered guests. A person using such does so at their own risk. The management will not be responsible for accidents, injuries or loss of property by fire, theft, wind, rain or act of God. Any damage and/or loss to site, other guests or facilities by guest will be the responsibility of the guest. We do reserve the right to refuse service to anyone.
      • Mail/Package Deliveries: We do not accept any mail or package deliveries. Please check with the local post office for this service and general delivery options.
      • Parking: Parking is provided for one vehicle at the site with your R.V. Designated parking areas are available for all other vehicles. Please DO NOT park in empty sites.
      • Pets: No barking or aggressive behavior will be allowed. Pets must be on a 6′ leash at all times. PLEASE CLEAN UP AFTER YOUR PETS IMMEDIATELY.
      • Quiet Time: Quiet time is observed every night from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. We will not tolerate loud noises, fighting, abusive language or drunkenness disturbing others. Running of generators is not allowed.
      • Refunds/Credits: We do not issue refunds or camp credits for any reason.
      • R.V. Requirements: All R.V.s must be owner-occupied, well-maintained and clean. Per Colorado law, each unit must have a 3″ sewer hook-up. The sewer connection must be sealed to comply with Jefferson County and State regulations.
      • R.V. Sites: We DO NOT guarantee specific sites. We reserve the right to assign campsites. No tents are allowed on an R.V. site.
      • Speed Limit: 5 MPH is strictly enforced. Drive carefully and watch for children.
      • Swimming or wading is not permitted in ponds.
      • Trash: Please place all trash in tied plastic bags and dispose of in proper receptacles. Do not leave garbage outside as we do have wildlife “visitors” in our area.
      • Truck Campers/Toppers: Are not to be removed from the vehicle at any time.
      • Vandalism: Anyone destroying property of Rainbow Trout Ranch and Campground will be prosecuted.
      • Visitors: Guests are welcome but are required to check in at the office and pay the applicable guest fee prior to visiting your site. You are responsible for your guests and any damages caused by them. You are asked to notify the campground manager or the camp host ahead of the visit who is coming, by name, when they will arrive and how long they are staying.
      • Winds: Due to the unpredictable Colorado high winds, always secure awnings, roof vents and any loose objects.

Fish Pond Policies

    Rainbow Trout Ranch and Campground reserves the right to discharge any person(s) for failure to abide by these rules. We do not issue refunds for any reason.

      • All trout taken from the Main Pond must be kept. There is a $30 charge for any trout thrown back into the pond. Return suckers and carp to the pond.
      • Do not attempt to fix a rental rod. Bring it to the office for exchange.
      • Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
      • No wading or swimming in ponds or creek.
      • No rock throwing.
      • Shoes must be worn at all times.
      • Pets must be leashed at all times. Water is available at the cleaning station.
      • This is a family park – no foul language or inappropriate behavior will be tolerated.
